Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of license do you offer?

The license we currently offer is a perpetual, single-PC license.

Which version should I buy?

WinISO 7 is the current version and is recommended for most users. Choose WinISO 6 only if you specifically need compatibility with an older system or workflow that requires WinISO 6.

Why doesn’t my license key work?

Please contact us and provide a screenshot of the error message you’re seeing. Also, please note that license keys for WinISO 7 can be used only with WinISO 7, while license keys for WinISO 6 can be used only with WinISO 6.

  • WinISO 7 license key format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
  • WinISO 6 license key format: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX... (64 characters in total)

Do I need an internet connection to activate the license?

Yes. WinISO 7 must connect to the license server to activate the license on your computer. If the license cannot be activated from within WinISO 7 due to network issues, you can manually activate it using a web browser on a computer with an internet connection.

Can I transfer the license to another computer?

Yes. For WinISO 7, deactivate the license on your old computer before activating it on a new computer. For WinISO 6, no deactivation is required. If the old computer is no longer available, you can contact us to reset the license.

Can I upgrade my WinISO 6 license to work with WinISO 7?

No. We no longer offer upgrade discounts from WinISO 6 to WinISO 7. To use WinISO 7, please purchase a WinISO 7 license.

Why does WinISO 7 fail to start with an “Entry Point Not Found” error?

F-Secure DeepGuard, a feature of F-Secure’s security products, may mistakenly prevent WinISO 7 from running due to a false positive. To fix the issue, try adding WinISO 7 to DeepGuard’s exclusion list.
